Team History
QuadA7Xstaller and JoeyJoeJoe yo met in the summer of 2013. Shortly after, they entered the Gaming Lemons Top 5 - HOTELS building competition, in which they placed 5th place. For months after they spoke about forming a team in which all their friends could join, and potentially new builders in the community. In 2014 potential members were spoken to, and on February 2nd, 2014 the name By The Square was announced. All the members let in on day 1 were friends with the leaders for over a year, which is a rule that was strictly enforced. On this day the team was officially formed and named by JoeyJoeJoe yo. Unfortunately this was also the year that the builders community on Xbox 360 Edition died out. Through out the next few months the team was of only 8 people, until early 2015 two more members were let in. These were the first members from outside the friendly community that were let it, RunnersShade17, and Rachel Craft 95. The community was at a low number of builders throughout the early months of 2015, so within the next couple months we welcomed more builders in coming up to 21 members. Toward the end of the year, QuadA7Xstaller created a new profile known by Aloha Karma. On December 10th, 2015 we merged with a team of 18 players that was currently on Xbox 360. This team was lead by Skemynx, now known as Noako Behr. In 2016, we had two team worlds that members were always working on. Progress was booming, and by the Summer of 2016 we had an estimated 40 builders. During this time all our members eventually moved over to Xbox One in which we left our Xbox 360 history behind. Around October that year, the fantasy squad was removed, along with a lot of OG members that were inactive from the team.. Dropping our number of members down to 23. However on December 13, 2016 we formed a branch with Team Spyraxis, the same team we recently merged with the year before. This was also the day Poppye5 & Noako Behr became co-leaders of By The Square. This time though, we kept better track of members, set up different squads, and had seperate team worlds that were always being worked on. In May 2017, we had over 50 active members in our team. By July 2017 however, most of our members began to disappear and move on to the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft. With the new release of Minecraft, by August both teams went their separate ways. With all the new features and opportunities on Bedrock Edition, by May 2018 all our members moved on to different teams or stopped playing. With all the change that came with the new version, it only made sense for our team and the ones around us to push forward on to bigger and better things.
